slocum dickson crap

I have  filed a complaint with the state concerning Slocum-Dickson Medical Group concerning the way that myself and my family have been treated since we lost our insurance coverage. How can this clinic practically cut us off even though we are willing to cash pay for care,they seem to treat us like they no longer want to treat us now that the no longer have insurance to over bill. I feel this is dead wrong and someone should look into this practice,it is unbelievable that this facility is allowed to do this and it should be questioned and investigated
They have charged my previous insurance for work that was never done in the past and they were very mad when I bought it up to them not only is this wrong but it should also be illegal

They are very rude and condescending.
Does anybody else run into this problem?

  1. When I had no insurance, I wanted to know how much my annual physical would be in advance, so I would know what to expect. They were not able to tell me in advance. It would have been like giving them a blank check. All I wanted was a basic physical, without blood tests etc, so it should not have been complicated. It seems like they should be able to give some sort of cost estimate to self pay patients.
